Frequently asked questions (FAQ's)

Q : Where do you do your photo sessions ?

A : Most sessions I capture are on location of your choice. It can be at your favorite spot, your back yard, a park, anywhere really. If you do not have a place in particular, then I will suggest a couple of places for you to choose. For newborn sessions, I prefer to come to your home where you and the baby will be most comfortable.

Q: What should I wear?

A: My number one answer is - whatever you are comfortable wearing. Next, if there is more than one of you in a session, wear colors that either compliment or ties everyone together. You can check out my pinterest board (under PearlyHens Photography) for suggestions for outfits.

Q: How do I tell you which images that I want and how I do I receive them??

A: As you review all the images in your gallery, mark the images that you love by clicking on the "heart" located in the top left corner of the image. A window should open for you to create a new collection. Name it appropriately. Once you make your final selections, go to "My favorites" and click on "send to:" . You should be able to send to "the photographer". Then I will send you the high resolution images, with the print release statement via email.

Q: how do I let you know which 8 x 10 print I would like?

A: For your 8x10 print, choose which one you want. Email me or call to let me know which image number that you would like. I then will order , then either hand deliver or mail to your address.

* If you can't decide on which images, as per your contract, the option to purchase a customized USB drive is available. Please inquire regarding the fees for the customized USB drive. Your USB will contain all edited, the high resolution images that is located on your gallery. Mail a check to "Pearly Hens Photography" at 2380 Stonehouse Drive, Napa, CA 94558. As soon as I receive your payment, I will create, order and mail the USB drive with the print release statement, within one week.

Q: How long will it take for my gallery to be up on your website?

A: I will have sneak peeks on my blog, Instagram and/or FB within one week of our session. Depending on my schedule and the number of shoots or events I have for that month, the gallery may take up to 2-3 weeks. Please let me know if you would like your gallery to be password protected.

Q: How long will it take for my wedding or event to up on your website?

A: I will have sneak peeks on my blog and/or FB within one week of our session. Depending on my schedule and the number of shoots or events I have for that month, the gallery may take up to 8-10 weeks. This is because I truly like to make sure that I choose and edit the best images that represents your celebration in the most beautiful way possible. Please let me know if you would like your gallery to be password protected.

Q: I purchased my USB drive, can I print or share my images anywhere?

A: A limited print release statement will be included with your purchase of USB thumb drive. This means you have the "ok" or permission to print the images with any vendor you wish. Please remember to uncheck "auto color correct" if you do decide to use other vendors, as I have edited the images to have the PearlyHens Photography look. As a reminder, if you purchase your prints from me, the images you receive will be of the highest quality and color.

However, if you are to share the image via social media (FB, Pintrest, twitter,etc) or email, please remember to tag and/or acknowledge PearlyHens Photography, as PearlyHens Photography as all copyrights to the images. The images cannot be sold or used for advertisements without PearlyHens Photography's acknowledgement.
